ABAADE NGOs-CSOs Network 

Alliance Bridge for Afghanistan Aids Development & Empowerment (ABAADE) is a collaborative network of women-led and women-focused NGOs and CSOs in Afghanistan. Under the leadership of AEHDA (Afghanistan Educational and Health Development Aids Organization), ABAADE brings together like-minded organizations to foster a strong and united alliance for promoting sustainable development, humanitarian response, and gender equity across Afghanistan.

Vision

To build a robust and self-sustaining network of Afghan women-led NGOs and CSOs, united in their mission to address critical challenges, empower communities, and create lasting positive change across the country.

Mission

ABAADE aims to create a collaborative platform that empowers women-led organizations and strengthens their collective capacity to address the challenges faced by Afghan communities, particularly women and children, through effective partnerships and coordinated actions.

Objectives

ABAADE focuses on the following strategic goals:

  1. Building Internal Capacity: Enhancing the skills, knowledge, and expertise of member organizations through regular knowledge-sharing sessions, capacity-building workshops, and tailored training programs.
  2. Sharing Information and Resources: Facilitating open communication and the exchange of critical information, tools, and resources to benefit all members and ensure mutual growth.
  3. Developing Joint Proposals: Collaborating on project development and submitting joint proposals to donors, enabling a unified and impactful approach to addressing pressing community needs.
  4. Coordinated Project Implementation: Designing and executing projects with a shared vision, ensuring harmonized efforts and avoiding duplication of work.
  5. Conducting Joint Assessments: Using standardized tools for joint assessments to gather accurate data, identify gaps, and strategize interventions.
  6. Optimizing Resource Utilization: Pooling resources such as office spaces, equipment, and human resources to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Advancing Sustainable Development: Promoting long-term, inclusive development through gender-sensitive and community-centered initiatives.
